Tolentino is a town and comune in the province of Macerata, in the Marche region of southern Italy.

The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is the seat of the Brotherhood of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, founded in 1805, also known as the "Sacconi" because of the rough cloth robes that the brothers in hoods still wear today in the Good Friday Procession.

The church was severely damaged by the 2016 earthquake and was then completely restored to its former glory thanks to a generous donation of 480,000 euros from the Hungarian government.

During the renovation, a new steel structure was built to house the bell tower, with five bells, and at the same time the façade was reinforced. In this way, a carillon of eight bells in Eb major was created, which is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Our Lady of Fatima, Saint Elizabeth Queen of Hungary, the holy Guardian Angels, Saint Vincent Maria Strambi, Saint Thomas of Tolentino, Saint Jose Sanchez Del Rio (a 15-year-old Mexican martyr), Saint Emidio and Saint Nicholas of Tolentino. On each bell is engraved a Cross of dedication to Jesus, the Most Holy Madonna and the saints described above.
