After 5,028 days of peregrination through 32 countries on 5 continents, covering a distance of 220,000 km, the Icon of Our Lady of Częstochowa returned to the place from which She began this astonishing pilgrimage. On November 5, 2025, She returned to the chapel of the Cardinal Primate Wyszyński Institute in Częstochowa. She will remain there until the end of January 2026. If anyone is in Częstochowa, it is worth visiting Her and praying in defense of life. The Primate's Institute is located near the Pilgrim's House and the side entrance to Jasna Góra – address: Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński 12.

The icon arrived in Italy on May 31st of this year, but unfortunately, it was held in customs for 10 days. This delayed the arrival at the Sanctuary of the Sacro Monte in Varese. She then visited Loretto, and accompanied Polish groups during the Jubilee Youth Meeting. She then spent an extended period at the Polish Church of St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr in Rome.

During this time, the entire feretory structure, which was severely damaged, had to be returned to Poland. Unfortunately, this took a considerable amount of time and was not easy. A thorough modernization of the lighting system was necessary. The light sources in the lighting frame were replaced, and an energy-efficient brightness control was added. The main power supply remained unchanged, as it is reliable. The power cable currently has a standard computer plug, so even if someone loses it, they can simply borrow one from the nearest computer, and the power supply will handle the power conditions regardless of where they are in the world. The battery-powered device uses cells, just like in modern power tools. Of course, with appropriate electronics that protect against overcharging and complete discharge. Tests have shown that this device shines very brightly for the first 12 hours at maximum brightness, then slightly reduces the light intensity. It takes several days to fully discharge before the electronics automatically shut it off. Reducing the brightness by half lasts significantly longer. Recharging the batteries takes almost a day with the lights on. This lighting works not only during the Icon's installation in the church but also during processions, which is especially impressive in the evening when it's already dark.

Visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Flowers in Bra

In mid-September, the rector of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Flowers in Bra in the Diocese of Turin, Fr. Enzo Torchio,, invited the Mother of God in Her Częstochowa Icon for the entire month of October, which is, after all, the Marian month. He arranged for transportation by car from Rome, despite the lack of a feretory and lighting. He planned a complete program of daily prayer during Her stay.

All the equipment arrived in Bra only on All Saints' Day. The icon was placed in a renovated feretory, which allows Her to be positioned vertically and illuminates rhe Icon properly. Finally, one could look Our Lady straight in the eyes, and this always moves people's hearts.. Those who came for the evening Rosary were the first to experience this.

The following day, Sunday, November 2nd, the Mother of God in the Częstochowa Icon, brilliantly illuminated, participated in all the Holy Masses with the faithful. At the conclusion of the visit to Bra, after the evening Rosary, those gathered solemnly carried Her out of the church in a candlelit procession to the colonnade at the entrance, where a blessing and farewell were offered to Our Lady. A farewell family photo was taken at the conclusion.Bra2

The next day, Our Lady in Her Częstochowa Icon began the return journey to Poland. She arrived in Częstochowa late in the evening on November 4th, but was in time for the Jasna Góra Appeal.Czestochowa

This completed the first circle of the great pilgrimage "From Ocean to Ocean" across the world in defense of the civilization of life and love. It was here that this pilgrimage began on January 28, 2012. Our Lady then traveled through Belarus to Russia. She has traveled 220,000 km so far. In January, we plan to take Her to Gdańsk. Our plans are extensive, and we will see what Our Lady has planned next...
