On Wednesday, October 24, the Icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa began "Her" visit in Germany.  The transfer of the Icon from the pro-life organization Human Life International – Switzerland was completed by Alexandra Wind in the Cathedral Basilica of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Konstanz.

Konstanz, the first place of the visit in Germany, is an ancient city on Lake Boden, founded by Constancius I Chlorus, the father of Constantine the Great in the third century.  The Black Madonna also visited Lindau and Gebetsstätte-Wigratzbad on the same day.

Our Lady arrived at Munich (Munchen) late that evening, at the Church of St. Joseph, which belongs to the Polish Mission in Germany.  The Poles received the Icon of Czestochowa with remarkable solemnness.  (More details will be posted soon.)

In the morning, the next day – October 25, Our Lady's Icon arrived at the Church of St. Paul in Munich, from where commenced a beautiful procession along the city streets.  In the evening She was already being greeted by the faithful in Altötting.

On Friday, October 26, Our Blessed Mother visited the basilica in Regensburg, the cathedral in Eichstätt, as well as the Gebetsstätte-Heroldsbach, where She stayed for the nightly prayer vigil.

On Saturday, October 27, Our Lady of Czestochowa visited Gebetsstätte-Heroldsbach and Würzburg.  In the evening, She arrived at the Church of St. Michael in Fulda.  (More detailed information is coming soon.)
