Around noon on October 31, Our Lady came to Hannover, Germany (Eng. Hanover) in the Diocese of Hildesheim and stopped at the Basilica of St. Clement. The church was filled with a large crowd of people. Father Tenge, the pastor of the basilica, presided over the solemn Liturgy of the Eucharist. Among the concelebrating priests was the prelate, Fr. Stanislaw Budyń, the president of the Polish Catholic Mission in Germany.
It is worth acknowledging here that the Polish Catholic Mission has demonstrated great commitment and support to worthily host the Queen of Poland, while She is peregrinating in the Icon of Czestochowa "From Ocean to Ocean" through Germany.
At the conclusion of the solemnity, there was still some time for individual veneration of Our Lady's Icon. Afterwards, the Icon was being processed out of the Basilica by four Polish priests, who carried the feretory with the Czestochowa Icon with great joy, commitment, and love to the vehicle in front of the church. This was a very touching moment.
In the evening, on Her way to Münster, Our Blessed Mother also visited the Marian Shrine Lage-Rieste for a short moment of prayer on Her way to Münster. The Marian shrine belongs to the parish of St. John the Baptist in the Diocese of Osnabrück. This holy shrine houses a Crucifix known for the many graces that flow from it. This visit took place at the special invitation of His Excellency, Bishop Dr. Franz Josef Bode, Ordinary of the Diocese of Osnabrück.
