Dear Friends!

str trasa1

The peregrination of the Icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa „From Ocean to Ocean” across the world in defense of life is slowly coming to the end of its first stage. On the 7th of April, the Divine Mercy Sunday, the main celebration will be held in Fatima. At present the Icon is still peregrinating around Spain.

The time of summing up is coming. Since the 28th of January 2012 when Archbishop Stanislaw Nowak blessed the copy of the Icon, and the Pauline fathers touched it to the original image, over a year has passed. In this time the Mother of God in Her Czestochowa Icon has already visited 23 countries. We estimate that 60 thousand kilometers have been covered!  Over 4 million people met the Mother of God and prayed in the intention of the defense of life. In this way it is the longest peregrination route in the world and one of the biggest pro-life campaigns. And this is only the first stage! In August we begin the second stage in the United States.

We have got a lot of very interesting materials, which show the faith and love for the Mother of God of millions of people in different countries, as well as their great prayer and involvement in the defense of life. This exhibition must be made in a professional way. The photos are very beautiful, and captions will be in two languages, in Polish and in English. We hope that in the future the exhibition will travel to various shrines.

We have to prepare 50 two-meter high pillars, which will form the racks and basis, as well as 26 two-side boards of the size of 122/100 cm, on which maps, photos and pro-life posters will be presented.

Unfortunately this is rather expensive. We estimate that the cost of the exhibition will amount to around 18,600 zlotys.

The Club of the Friends of Human Life has been coordinating the journey of the Icon of Our Lady all the time. It would not be possible without your help. We hope that also this time we can count on your help.

Great thanks to all those who support the peregrination of Our Lady of Czestochowa “From Ocean to Ocean” across the world in the defense of life.
