The Mother of God arrived In the diocese of  Coria-Cáceres at noon on the 28th of February. First She went to the shrine of Our Lady of Argeme, the patroness of Coria, also called the Black Madonna. The veneration lasted till 4 PM.

Next the Czestochowa Icon was solemnly carried in a procession along the narrow streets of the old town of Coria. Having passed the gate in the city walls the Icon was carried with singing to the convent of St. Clara Sisters and then towards the cathedral. After the solemn welcoming ceremony at the cathedral the Holy Rosary in the intention of the defense of life and family was said and the Holy Mass was celebrated.

After the Holy Mass the Mother of God escorted by police left for the capital of the province of Caceres.

With the police escort, along the narrow streets, the Icon of Our Lady reached the market place of Caceres. A crowd of several hundred people awaited Her there. After the solemn welcome the Icon was placed in Ermita de la Paz (The Chapel of Peace). Here during the exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament the Holy Hour was celebrated.  Then, at 11 PM the Icon was carried to the chapel of the permanent adoration at the church of Our Lady of Fatima, where prayers lasted throughout the night. On the 1st of March at 9AM the Holy Mass was celebrated, and next, at 10 AM, Our Lady visited the school run by Madres Josefinas (Mothers Josephines). Before noon the children from the school came class by class, to venerate the Icon of Our Lady, and father Ramon, the pastor of families in the diocese of Coria-Caceres, led the prayers and explained the idea of the Icon peregrination to the children.CORIA

At 1PM the Icon was carried to the chapel of the Most Sacred Hart of Jezus where the Holy Mass was celebrated. The next place to visit was the House of Hermanitas de los Pobres (the poor sisters), who take care of the poor elderly people. The veneration lasted throughout the afternoon.

At 6PM the Czestochowa Icon was carried in a solemn procession along the streets of Caceres with bishop Francisco Cerro Chaves, the metropolitan bishop of the diocese. The procession went to a church where bishop Cerro presided over the solemn Holy Mass. In the evening the Mother of God left for the last city in Her pilgrimage route in Spain – Badajoz.
