Our Lady managed to arrive in Dresden only late in the evening on the 29th of October, and with more than an hour's delay.  The Icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa stood in the chapel of the Missionary Sisters of St. Peter Claver - a great mentor and apostle of Black slaves in America.  Despite a very late evening hour for a visit at the convent, the Sisters were very hospitable.

The Icon was positioned in a place of honor inside the convent chapel, where veneration of the Blessed Mother lasted throughout the night.  The pastor, Father R. Jenach, presided over the prayer service with the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, which lasted until midnight.

In the morning of October 30, Our Blessed Mother arrived for the celebration of the Holy Mass at the Cathedral of Holy Trinity, in the heart of Dresden, which is located in the historic old town.  Here, in the crypt, are the tombs of the members of the Wettin dynasty, and those of the kings of Saxony and Poland.

Although it was a weekday, many people came to greet the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa.  Father R. Jenach presided over the celebration of the Liturgy of the Eucharist, assisted by Fr. Pastor Andrew Kobiesa, who is in charge of pastoral care for the Polish community in Dresden.

After the celebration of the Holy Mass, the Icon remained a little longer in the cathedral for individual veneration of the faithful.  Unfortunately, the Icon had to be taken to a specialist shop, where they fixed the broken part of the frame that cracked during the accident in Fulda. The Icon of the Mother of God itself aroused great interest among the Protestant management of the specialty repair shop, who greatly moved by the initiative of the peregrination "From Ocean to Ocean," decided spontaneously to offer their repair service free of charge.

In the evening, Our Lady headed for Berlin - the capital of Germany.
