The Order was established in the year 1304, and was founded in Italy. In 1614, the Archduchess Anne Catherine brought the Servites to Innsbruck. The specific vocation of this order is to meditate on the Sorrows of Mary and imitate Her virtues. The veneration of the Icon lasted here all afternoon.
During the night, between Friday and Saturday, the Icon of Our Blessed Mother was venerated at the Center for Life in the town of Hohenems. This town is located in the next state called Vorarlberg, which is in the Dornbirn district.
On Saturday, October 13, the Icon visited the monastery Thalbach Bregenz in the community called "Werk" - (Masterpiece). Our Lady then visited the church of St. Sebastian in Feldkirch / Gisingen, where she was ceremonially welcomed by the pastor, Fr. Thomas Felder. In the evening, the Holy Mass was celebrated Mass there, which was followed by the Fatima devotion with the traditional light procession.
Early in the morning on Sunday, October 14 at 7:30 a.m., after a touching farewell, Our Lady left Austria and departed for the Principality of Liechtenstein.
