St Chads cathedral Birmingham is filled to capacity to greet and venerate our Holy Mother.
We pray that as St Chad proclaimed the Gospel in his day to the midlands and northern regions of England we too will become beacons of Truth which in history lay at the heart of the Industrial Revolution in the British Empire but in a city which witnessed the life and wisdom of Blessed John Henry Newman. In his words we pray through the Icon "Lead Kindly Light amid the encircling gloom. Lead thou me on"
