On March 24, Our Lady of Czestochowa was taken to the Church of St. Simon in Vila Fresca de Azeitão, after having being welcomed and venerated by the faithful in the Church of Seixal.
During the whole day of March 23, the National Shrine of Christ the King, located in Almada, Diocese of Setubal, hosted the Icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa, offering to the many visitors that passed by on that day the chance to pray next to her for the defense of Life and for Peace in the world.
The association “Ajuda de Berço” (Help to the Cradle) welcomed Our Lady of Czestochowa on March 21 and 22, in its house in Monsanto, Lisbon.
Sandra Anastácio, the director of this institution explained that “it was a visit which filled everybody with emotion and many blessings.
The Icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa arrived at the parish of the Most Holy Name of Jesus in Odivelas.
On Monday, 18th of March, Fr. Artur Karbowy SAC came with a group of lay people to the international seat of the “World Apostolate of Fatima”, in Fatima, to receive the Icon and to take it to Odivelas.
At 17h45, the Icon was welcomed by the parishioners and the parish priest, Fr. João Francisco Pietrus SAC. Right after arrival, she was taken with great joy into the parish church where she will remain till Thursday evening, March 21.
On the 13th of March, around 4:00 pm, the Icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa arrived at the Cathedral of Viana do Castelo, built in the 15th century. She was taken in procession into the church while the bells were solemnly ringing.
