On the 29th of November in the afternoon the parish of Genlis (In Burgundy, near the city of Dijon, 330 kms to the south-east of Paris) witnessed an unprecedented event – it was visited by the Icon of Our Lady of Częstochowa on it peregrination from ocean to ocean. About 200 people gathered in the church. They came also from the neighbouring parishes.
In the evening the Icon of the Mother of God had to travel over 30 kms. It left the XV district of Paris to go to the parish of St. Geogre in Belloy-en-France, a place in the far north outskirts of the capital, near Chantilly and Senlis. Bernard had been stuck in Paris traffic jams. He came late. There were about on hundred people in the church.
November 26th. Courset. The evening vigil with Emanuel community. „Do not fear to ask for too much.”
About 300 people came to attend the evening vigil at the chapel of the Foyer of Light and Charity. Courset is located far from the busy roads and big cities. A few hundred inhabitants of the village are little interested in this remote place in the big palace park. Therefore the people who came on this Monday evening covered 10, 30 or 70 kms to get here.
