Our Lady managed to arrive in Dresden only late in the evening on the 29th of October, and with more than an hour's delay. The Icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa stood in the chapel of the Missionary Sisters of St. Peter Claver - a great mentor and apostle of Black slaves in America. Despite a very late evening hour for a visit at the convent, the Sisters were very hospitable.

On the sixth day of the pilgrimage through Germany, Monday - October 29, the Icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa made a sojourn in the Holy Trinity Church in Leipzig. The service was conducted and blessings given by Reverend Lothar Vierhock – the pastor of the parish. Since the visit in Leipzig took place on a Monday, the coordinators of the pilgrimage decided to recall the traditional Monday marches that took place in the 80s in favor of freedom and democracy.

On Monday, October 29, the Icon of Czestochowa arrived in Erfurt, the capital of Thuringia, at the parish of St. Ursula on the Gera River. Our Blessed Mother was welcomed in the Erfurt Ursuline convent. In the year 1535, St. Angela Merici founded the Association of St. Ursula in Italy, whose main focus was the education of young women.

After the unfortunate accident of the Life Mobile in Fulda, Our Lady of Czestochowa arrived on October 28 by car, with only a slight delay in Kassel, at the church dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima - the Queen of Peace. Reverend Julian Marecik, the pastor of the Polish Catholic Mission, organized a grand welcome.

In the morning of October 28, an accident occurred in Fulda. The "Life Mobile," in which the Icon of Czestochowa was being transported, was seriously damaged. The organizers did not realize that the entrance gate was too low. Even though the speed was not high, the impact was very strong, which was caused just by the mere weight of the shrine on wheels. In effect, all the glass of the encasement was badly damaged. This was bullet-proof glass and type P4 glued. It is not easy to shatter this type of glass, which will not even scratch when a rock is thrown at it from a 2-meter distance.
