The fanfares of Jasna Gora bid the Black Madonna a solemn and loud farewell, as She was leaving the hall of the Niederösterreich (Lower Austria) Castle, where the VI World Prayer for Life Congress took place, and was heading for the Church of Our Lady of Victory in Vienna. It was the evening of the 6th of October – the Eve of the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.

In the days of the 4th – 8th of October, Our Blessed Mother in the Czestochowa Icon peregrinating across the world in defense of life, arrived at the World Prayer Congress for Life, which took place in Vienna this time, under the motto: "Ecce Mater Tua" (literal translation – Behold Your Mother).

Our Lady left the Life Center in Vienna on Tuesday afternoon, on October 2nd, to visit the eastern state (Land) of Austria, called Burgenland. She was greeted solemnly at 4:00 p.m. and brought inside the Cathedral of St. Martin in Eisenstadt by its pastor, Reverend Josef Prikoszovits, accompanied by Rev. Canon Ernst Pöschl and Reverend Hans Ullrich Möring, the bishop's master of ceremonies.

Our Blessed Mother was invited to the Life Center in Graz for the night. The center is also located in the heart of the city. The feretory with the Icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa was carefully carried in a procession through the neighboring streets.

On Sunday, September 30th, at about 2:00 p.m., Our Blessed Mother arrived at the beautiful Church of Holy Trinity run by the School Sisters of Notre Dame. It is located in the very center of the city, right next to the entrance of the clock tower, a landmark of Graz.
