Thursday, September 20th, was the last day of visitation in Slovenia. Our Lady visited Novo Mesto in the Dolenjska region near the Croatian border. Their St. Michael's Cathedral was filled with multitudes, even though it was a day of work and an early afternoon hour when the Mass was celebrated at 1:30 p.m. The Vicar General of the Diocese of Novo Mesto, Father Božidar Metelko, presided over the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

The meeting at the Mediterranean Sea took place in an old port city Koper, on the north-west shore of the Istria Peninsula.
Next, the Icon had arrived at the capital of Slovenia, - Ljubljana.

Along the way to Maribor, the peregrinating Icon of Czestochowa would stop in a few smaller towns. In effect, the Icon was almost an hour late, but the residents of Maribor waited for "Her" perseveringly. Both, the young and the old, greeted Her with fervent prayers, singing, smiling faces, and even with tears, - gathering around Our Lady's Icon.

On Monday, the 17th of September, Our Lady in the Icon of Czestochowa greeted Slovenia and bid farewell to the hospitable Hungarians. The head of the Hungarian Pro-Life Movement arrived with Our Lady in the Life Mobile and presented the Icon to the representative of the Slovenian Pro-Life Movement, Valentina Pikelj. The Hungarian flag on the Life Mobile was replaced with the Slovenian flag for the next five days.

Oradea (hun. Nagyvárad) is a city in northern Romania populated with ethnic Hungarians. This area is very significant historically, due to its great defeat of the Christian troops at Mohi under the invasive pressure of the Mongolian army in 1241 A.D. Many people were brutally murdered, yet the victorious Mongolians continued to press further West into Europe.
