Early morning, on August 17th, the Icon of Czestochowa arrived at the church of St. Luke the Evangelist (being newly constructed) in Fordon, after the Sacrifice of the Holy Mass had been celebrated by the Reverend Dr. Lech Bilicki and the pastor and custodian of the Shrine of Our Lady of Beautiful Love, Father Stanislaw Kotowski.

In Bydgoszcz, the cathedral is at the same time the Shrine of Our Lady of Beautiful Love. In the afternoon, on August 16th, a great number of faithful immersed in prayer awaited the arrival of the Icon of Czestochowa peregrinating across the world "from Ocean to Ocean" in defense of life.

Hundreds of faithful, gathered in the Naklo parish church, greeted the Icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa. It did not matter to them that the wait had been prolonged by almost an hour. Many, with tears of emotion, greeted the peregrinating Icon, which had arrived on Thursday at Naklo on the Notec River.

Early morning on August 16th, a trail of vehicles was riding ahead of the Icon of Czestochowa. At the head of the cavalcade was the police car, next were the motorcycle riders, following was the Archbishop's vehicle, then came Father Tomasz Kancelarczyk, the priest organizing the marches for life, and the permanent escort of Our Blessed Mother.
